To those of you that called earlier today, sorry I wasn’t online to take calls as expected. We’re preparing for a blizzard here and we were *so* not ready for it! As I sit and type this at 2:21AM, there’s already two inches out there, with no sign of the snow slowing down. The morning commute for those that have to leave the house today is going to SUCK.
Just think, there’s already more snow here than most of you have length to your lil dicklets! LOL
HISTORIC SNOWSTORM ON THE WAY FOR VALENTINES DAY…
SNOWFALL RATES WILL REACH ONE TO TWO INCHES PER HOUR WITH 4 TO 10 INCHES ON THE GROUND BY SUNRISE. THE SNOWFALL MAY DIMINISH FOR A TIME AROUND MIDDAY…AND A LITTLE
SLEET MAY MIX IN AT TIMES.HEAVY SNOW WILL RETURN DURING THE AFTERNOON AS LOCALIZED HEAVY SNOW BANDS DEVELOP. THESE HEAVY SNOW BANDS COULD PRODUCE SNOWFALL RATES OF 4 TO 5 INCHES AND HOUR AND MAY BE ACCOMPANIED BY THUNDER AND LIGHTNING.
THE INCREASING WINDS AND HEAVY SNOW WILL PRODUCE WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AT TIMES…AND THERE IS ALSO THE POTENTIAL FOR SPOTTY POWER OUTAGES.
AS THE SNOW WINDS DOWN WEDNESDAY EVENING…PROJECTED TOTAL STORM SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE BETWEEN 15 AND 30 INCHES… WITH SOME HIGH TERRAIN LOCALITIES POSSIBLY GETTING AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF THREE FEET.
Needless to say, I’ll be available for calls (wearing pantyhose under my jeans to keep warm… and you foot boys know what my boots do to them!) as long as the power and/or cable doesn’t go out. With the ice mix, I’m not going to be surprised if we see some down time there.
Keep an eye on my call buttons, bois… they’ll tell you if I’m available or not. Some hot talk to keep me warm is going to be a welcome change from the blizzard outside!
